Stress is an unavoidable part of life, but, when it becomes overwhelming, it can take a toll on both our physical and mental well-being. Chronic stress can lead to a variety of health issues, including anxiety, depression, high blood pressure, and insomnia. That's why, it's essential to find effective ways to manage and alleviate stress.
We all have different levels of stress that affect us daily, work, family, loss, and job change. We don’t separate the mind from the body.
Our body responds to all the environmental, emotional, and physical stresses. With that being said, many people experience autoimmune problems, health problems, emotional anxiety, and panic attacks. The stress we deal with daily, our bodies cannot handle it. We have little “Flairs” in our autoimmune system when things get to be too much and we cannot process it.
One natural approach that many people turn to is the use of essential oils. Essential oils are concentrated extracts derived from plants that contain aromatic compounds. These compounds have been used for centuries for their therapeutic properties, including their ability to promote relaxation and reduce stress.
So incorporating specifically blended essential oils and plant essences to help you relax is the goal of Mysa Zone specialists. Several essential oils are particularly well-known for their calming effects on the nerves. Lavender, Chamomile, Bergamont, and Frankincense are a few examples. We hand-select these therapeutic essential oils and blend them specifically for you. Our Mysa specialists focus on helping you relax the mind, comfort the body and melt on the table.
There are several ways to use essential oils to relax the nervous system: We have incorporated them in our services of Aromatherapy Polarity, Balanced Essence, Herbal Steam sessions.
Inhalation: One of the easiest ways to use essential oils is through inhalation. You can simply add a few drops of your chosen oil to a diffuser and breathe in the aroma. Alternatively, you can add a few drops to a bowl of hot water and inhale the steam.
Massage: Another effective way to use essential oils is through massage. Dilute a few drops of your chosen oil in a carrier oil, such as coconut or jojoba oil, and massage it into your skin. This can help promote relaxation and ease tension in the muscles.
Bath/Steam: Adding a few drops of essential oil to a warm bath can create a soothing and relaxing experience. Simply add the oil to the bathwater and soak for 15-20 minutes to help calm your mind and body.
Aromatherapy: You can also use essential oils in aromatherapy by adding them to a spray bottle with water and misting the air around you. This can create a calming atmosphere and help reduce feelings of stress and anxiety.
While essential oils can be a helpful tool for relaxation, it's essential to use them safely and consult with a healthcare professional if you have any underlying health conditions or concerns. Additionally, it's important to remember that essential oils are not a substitute for professional medical treatment and should be used as part of a comprehensive approach to stress management and self-care.
